There’s nothing quite like the feeling of walking along the shore, the wind in your hair, ozone in your nostrils and the sound of waves crashing, as you collect plastic that’s been washed up by the tides. Ally and I have just returned from one of our favourite beach-cleaning adventures, this time, with a very special purpose. The plastic we gathered along the stunning coastlines of St Monans, Elie, and the Isle of Ulva (where my wonderful friends Banjo and Ro now live, have you seen their incredible TV show about island life?) has inspired our brand-new range of Lucky Swallows.
A Palette Inspired by You and the Sea
We’ve listened to your feedback and created three fresh, neutral colours designed to complement any space. Each shade is born from the plastic we collected, and each tells its own story:
Ulva Black: A sharp, dramatic silhouette inspired by the wild beauty of Ulva’s coastline.
Gannet: A creamy white with a whisper of warmth, crafted from plastic found in Elie.
Gull: A stormy, atmospheric shade harvested from the windswept beaches of St Monans.
Bringing the Colours to Life
We were so lucky to work with the brilliant photographer Reuben Paris to capture the spirit of this new collection. The studio was filled with laughter and creativity as Reuben’s genius eye brought every detail to life, we can’t wait for you to see the results!
Coming Soon! Let’s Hear Your Stories
The new range is available to buy online soon, and we’d love to know which colour speaks to you. Will it be the bold Ulva Black, the soft Gannet, or the moody St Monans Grey? Share your thoughts and tag us because we adore seeing how our little messengers of hope find their way into your homes.
What’s your favourite? Let us know in the comments or on social media, we love hearing from you!
